Jumbi is proud to host Original Flava for a chef residency shaped by shared values: honouring heritage, celebrating community and amplifying the flavours of the Afro-Caribbean diaspora.
What followed was not a trend, but a commitment
Founded by brothers Craig McAnuff and Shaun McAnuff, Original Flava began in their grandmother’s Jamaican kitchen.
What followed was not a trend, but a commitment - to document, preserve and share Caribbean recipes with integrity. Today, their work connects a global community of more than 850,000 people who cook and learn from their platform.
At Jumbi, food and music sit in conversation. Both are expressions of diaspora - layered, adaptive and rooted in memory. Original Flava’s approach to Caribbean cooking speaks that same language.
The brothers have curated a Brand new menu filled with Caribbean fusion small plates including Oxtail Trini doubles, Plantain tostones with scotch bonnet hummus, Rum BBQ chicken skewers as well as signature 48 hour marinated Jerk chicken smoked on the drum & Nanny’s curry goat & much more. On Sundays, their Jerk Carib-British Roast reflects the ongoing dialogue between Caribbean heritage and British food culture.
This residency is a continuation of a wider story - one told through seasoning, smoke and shared tables.

Brothers, Craig & Shaun’ love for Caribbean cooking began with helping their Mum & Nan make Caribbean favourites in the kitchen growing up.
Growing up in in South London,UK, they grew frustrated that Caribbean food was only recognised for just Jerk chicken, their mission was to show there was so much more…
Craig & Shaun launched ORIGINAL FLAVA in 2016 to show how easy it was to make caribbean food. Now having close to 1 million followers across the globe, over 100 million video views, their communiy aren’t just followers they are like family.
Now, Residents at Jumbi there bring a full-heat of flava to Jumbi.

On Fridays and Saturdays the latest booking slot is 9pm. We do not offer queue jump or guest list.
Please let our staff know of any allergies before ordering food and drinks from our bar and kitchen.
Food and Drinks from other venues are prohibited inside Jumbi.
Bottles of alcohol will be confiscated by staff if found.
Please seek permission from the Venue Manager or Supervisor before bringing food to the venue e.g. Birthday Cakes and Takeaway.
Children & Under-18s can not enter or be in the venue past 8 pm. Please book accordingly.
